Biography
Only child of Morgan Lewis (Governor of New York) and Gertrude Livingston. Married Maturin Livingston on 30 May 1798. They had twelve children including Maturin Livingston Jr., Angelica Livingston (who married Alexander Hamilton Jr.), and others. The family resided at Staatsburgh (now a State Historic Site) in Dutchess County, NY.
