Biography
Sarah Sabina Morris was the daughter of Jacob Morris (1755–1844), a Continental Congressman and New York state politician, and Mary Cox. She married Peter Philip James Kean (1788–1828), linking the Morris, Livingston, and Kean families. After her husband's death in 1828, she managed the family estate at Liberty Hall through the upbringing of her children, including the future Senator John Kean and Mrs. Hamilton (Julia Kean) Fish.
