Philip Philip Livingston (1741–1787)

Son of Philip Livingston 'the Signer' (1716–1778) and Christina Ten Broeck (1718–1801). Born May 28, 1741 in Clermont/Albany; died November 2, 1787 in New York City. Married Sarah Johnson (1749–1802) on June 29, 1768 in Kingston, Jamaica, W.I. The only son of 'the Signer' to have surviving issue — making him the father-of-record for all descendants of Philip Livingston the Declaration Signer. Children included Philip Henry Livingston, Christina Livingston (married John Macomb), Edward Philip Livingston (1779–1843, Lieutenant Governor of New York and master of Clermont Manor through his marriage to his cousin Elizabeth Stevens Livingston), and Jasper Hall Livingston.
