Mary Hopkins (?–1613)

First wife of Mayflower passenger Stephen Hopkins and mother of his three eldest children: Elizabeth, Constance, and Giles Hopkins. She remained in England when Stephen first sailed for Virginia and died there in May 1613, before the Mayflower voyage. Her maiden name is not proven; she is sometimes identified as Mary Kent (possibly daughter of Robert and Joan (Machell) Kent of Hursley, Hampshire), but this is unconfirmed, so it is left out of the title here. Direct ancestor through her daughter Constance Hopkins.
