Biography
Emmeline Cornell Hopkins was the wife of Herman Thong Livingston (1856–1936), Yale 1879, Vice-President of the Sinclair Oil Company and fourth-generation owner of the Oak Hill estate. Through her Cornell heritage, her son Edmund Pendleton Livingston pursued a graduate degree in geology at Cornell University before relocating to Canada.
