Mary Ann (Maria) LeRoy (1759–1797)

Mary Ann LeRoy, born in 1759 to Jacob LeRoy and Cornelia Rutgers of the prominent New York Dutch merchant class, married John Livingston of Oak Hill on May 11, 1775 when she was 15 and he was 26. She bore all of his nine children before her death in 1797 at age 38. Through her son Herman Livingston she is the direct-line ancestor of the Oak Hill branch of the Livingston family.
