Wife of Philip Peter Livingston (1740–1810), eldest son of Peter Van Brugh Livingston and Mary Alexander. Daughter of David Van Horne (1715–1775, wealthy NYC merchant) and Anna (French) Van Horne (1722–1786). Her sister Mary Van Horne married Cornelius Clarkson. Mother of Peter Van Brugh Livingston (1792–1868, US Chargé d'affaires to Ecuador under President Polk) and Charles Ludlow Livingston (1800–, Speaker of the NY Assembly).
