Susannah Lewis Livingston (1761–1822)

Married Gilbert James Livingston on 28 February 1779, probably in Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York. Mother of at least nine children: Richard Lewis (1781), James, Judith (1785), Franklin (1787), Cortlandt (1790), Philip C., Charles (1793), Maria, and Cornelia Livingston. Through her children's descendants (particularly the Sheldon line) she is a matriarch of the Oneida County, NY Livingston branch.
