Judith Newcomb Livingston (1733–1808)

Born in Lebanon, New London County, Connecticut. Daughter of the Newcomb family of Connecticut. Married James Livingston (1728–1790), grandson of Philip Livingston, 2nd Lord of the Manor, and settled with him in Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York. Mother of Gilbert James Livingston (1758–1833) and other children. Through Gilbert's marriage to Susannah Lewis she was the great-great-grandmother of the Sheldon branch of the family.
