Biography
Husband of Alida Livingston (1747–1791), daughter of Robert Livingston, 3rd Lord of the Manor, whom he married in 1762. Major in the British 16th Regiment of Foot. One of several British-officer marriages into the upper-Manor Livingston line that aligned parts of the family with the Loyalist cause during the American Revolution.
