Eliza McEvers (d. 1810)

Second wife of John R. Livingston (1755–1851), whom she married in 1789. From the prominent McEvers merchant family of New York (sister-in-law of Edward Livingston, the Secretary of State, who had married Mary McEvers of the same family in 1788). Mother of most of John R. Livingston's younger children including Robert Montgomery Livingston (1790–1838, m. Sarah Barclay Bache), Serena Eliza Livingston (1795–1884, m. Col. George Croghan of War of 1812 fame), and the later Livingston-Croghan line.
